These optional Mega-Catch Octenol fragrance strips work with the Alpha, Premier and Ultra mosquito traps.

Octenol is an artificial compound that mimics human perspiration. These strips contain Octenol and work with mosquito traps that release it into the air to help attract the mosquitoes to the trap. Once the mosquitoes reach the trap, the infrared heat source draws them into the trap where they are spun into a bag and die.

The Octenol fragrance strips are not included in the Alpha mosquito trap box, but they can be used for any of the Alpha, Premier and Ultra mosquito traps.
