With gas prices the way they are and concerns for the environment as catalysts, I began my search for a simple push lawn mower. How lucky I was to find Clean Air Gardening! My Scott Classic mower was unbelievably inexpensive, arrived very quickly and well-packed, and works perfectly. Yesterday we cut the grass when it was at least 8 inches high in some areas. Reason for it being so high, was that we had patched our lawn.
We had to wait for the young grass to get big enough. My wife was not satisfied with the preformance with the plastic blade. So I put on the metal one. Boy, what a difference! That little machine was munching away at that job. I was quite impressed and so was she. That little machine did not even slow down.

My Brill arrived yesterday, right on schedule! It cut my yard wonderfully. I moved in a year ago, and this is the second time my yard has
been mowed (a long story involving sprained and re-sprained ankles). So the Brill had quite a task. It is lightweight, easy to use, easy to clean,
manuevers nicely. Best of all, it is quiet. It made a soft clicking sound as I mowed, allowing me to hear the evening calls of the songbirds. I
welcome the exercise, too.

I received my lawnmower and finally had a chance to try it out - it's great! It's easy to handle (I'm only 5 ft. tall, so I have trouble with anything too cumbersome) and the lawn looks great.

Brill Luxus 38

I'm finally mowing, thanks to my corrected handle part. What a fabulous invention! All these years my husband has been telling me that we couldn't possibly mow a bigger (8,000 sq ft) yard with a reel mower. Ha! I showed him how wrong he has been -- yesterday our current yard (4,000 sq ft) was done in moments. It was soooo easy. And peaceful! I even took calls while I was out there!

We are impressed with this company. From order date it took only 4 days to our door. The mower, at a mere 13" is powerful and perfect for our small yard. There was a minor problem with the grass catcher a part of which is being replaced as we speak. Highly recommended and with praise.

Brill Luxus 38

I have looked at your web site for several years now and wanted this mower even though I am keeping 2-1/2 acres. I have places that I can not get into with a riding mower and some inclines that may end up pinning me under a mower. I also want to stimulate grass growth (last year's East Texas drought almost wiped the grass out), and this seems to be the answer.

The mower is just as you described, and I am absolutely thrilled with it. It has exceeded any expectation I had. I guess you can say that I have purchased a long awaited "toy". My mother is 85 years old and can push it. You have no idea of the people who stop in the street to see what I am doing when I mow. I think they stare in total disbelief.

I am 61 years old, and I have never enjoyed mowing as much as with my Brill. I appreciate the purr of the mower and the lack of noise and fumes.

Brill Luxus 38 reel mower

Just a belated note to say that we LOVE our Brill mower. We have a large lawn -- something over 5,000 square feet -- and weren't sure if it would be too big a job for a push reel mower. It works beautifully. When I hear the noise from my neighbors' mowers, or watch my neighbor try so hard to start her gas mower, I am so glad that we have our push reel mower. Thanks for the great product!

I got my new Brill 38 mower and in 5 minutes was out quietly mowing my lawn in the cool of the morning. My neighbor saw that my lawn was cut and said he didn't hear my lawn mower. Then I showed him why. With the mulching I don't need fertilizer and the grass has never looked better in 11 years. Our neighborhood has a friendly competition for the best lawn. :-) Ok so now it has been 4 weeks of mowing. Our family loves to play "croquet"
and now with our healthy shorter cut lawn the children can see and hit the ball which now rolls a long way. The Brill 38 is everything you claim. Even my 6 year old son can push it with supervision and I now love to mow the lawn thanks to the Brill 38 and your good service!

Brill Luxus 38

NO GRASS ALLERGIES! I can't believe it. All my life I've dreaded mowing the lawn. I have a severe grass allergy. One of the first things I noticed about my new Brill mower is that I don't get the allergy after effect. It makes sense. A traditional gas mower blows grass dust up in the air like a cloud. The entire time you mow your head is in the cloud. The Brill cuts differently and doesn't create a cloud. Therefore, no allergies. I believe this is by far the best feature of the mower.

Toro Powercurve 1800 electric snowthrower

My Toro 1800 electric snowblower was very well priced. It was sold about $20 below average retail and I paid no shipping costs. I was told it would take about 5-8 days to recieve my shipment, and I believe I got it on the 6th day. I have not used it yet, but it looks nice sitting in the garage. I like that Clean Air Gardening warned people on the website that the snowblowers sell out VERY fast since I had the sell out problem last year. Overall, so far, a great experience.

Big Round Composter

I was extremely happy with the service provided by Clean Air Gardening. The price was exceptional -- I had been looking at several other sites for a similar product. I was also very happy about the free shipping. This also put Clean Air Gardening way above the rest of the sites I viewed.

Bat House

Clean Air Gardening sells a solid product. The Bat House was nicely made and had added features such as a landing deck and vent holes. The product also came with a helpful advice on attracting bats. In all, it seems their product, service, and expedient delivery are top-notch.

Wonderful! Clean Air Gardenings pages were very helpful, honest, and straightforward, which made it easy for us to identify pros and cons of buying the product. We didnt have to wade through a pile of empty marketing-speak.

In addition, the item arrived within a couple of days, rather than taking the standard (longer) shipping period they stated. We especially appreciated this; our yard was quite furry just then and required prompt attention. :)

The product itself is fantastic. I wish wed bought it sooner. Its also making our neighbors curious, so hopefully we can spread the word.

Overall, were very happy to support a business whose principles support the environment, and would gladly do so again in the future. (Not that we expect our new mower to fall apart, of course -- Im sure you know what I mean.)

Compost Thermometer

This thermometer works really well for my hot compost. It doesnt fog up and it is long enough to get down to where I want to take a reading. Also, I received it much sooner than even the merchant said it would arrive.

Electric Chipper Shredder

Scotts Classic reel mower

I just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying my new Scotts Classic reel mower! I recently ordered an open box return and it was truly just like new! To my great surprise it was here in no time! I ordered it late on a Friday and it was at my house on Tuesday! I assembled the handle and got right to mowing.

I have St.Augustine grass and I was prepared for a workout. To my surprise the mower was easier to maneuver than the gas powered walk-behind I have used for years! My yard looks healthier, better than it EVER has after only one mowing and I expended far less energy overall. I was really struggling with my old mower and it took me far more time in stopping to restart it, empty the clogged bag, and clear the deck of that old thing. I also had to muscle it over some roots in order to get to my lawn but with the Scotts, I just pick it up! I am getting rid of the makeshift ramp I had in my yard to get the old mower past my deck and tree roots! This has been a wonderful experience so far.

By the way...my old mower is sitting at my curb with a sign on it..."FREE - Needs Repair"! I am sure one of the many lawn crews who work in my neighborhood will pick it up. They are welcome to it!
